I’m an enthusiastic amateur gardener who happens to like reading and writing about plants and gardens as much as photographing them.
My garden is high in the hills of Wellington, New Zealand, in a place I like to think of as ‘The Cloud Forest’. Wellington has a temperate climate letting me grow a wide variety of plants. My biggest challenge is the wind, which is extreme.
When I’m not teaching 5 and 6 year olds I’m writing short stories, dreaming of being the next Raymond Carver or Katherine Mansfield.
